Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. We may collect an adult's name, email address, purchase and subscription details, support messages, survey responses, marketing choice, and content entered into an experience. Family content may include a Family Home name, a child's first name or nickname entered by a parent, age range, family words, reflections, selected situations, observations, saved guidance, and experience progress.

Payment information. Stripe processes payment-card and billing information. We receive transaction details such as payment status, amount, product, customer email, and Stripe identifiers, but we do not receive or store full card numbers.

Technical information. Our hosting, security, and measurement providers may process IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages or buttons used, approximate location derived from IP address, request time, and diagnostic logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• Process purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds
• Create and deliver purchased products, access links, sign-in codes, scheduled product guidance, and keepsakes
• Provide and personalize Family Homes, child discovery profiles, and the Moment Mirror
• Send additional ideas and offers when you choose promotional email
• Answer questions, prevent misuse, secure the service, and comply with law
• Understand performance and improve our products
• Measure advertising and, where enabled and legally permitted, build or reach relevant audiences

3. Product emails and optional marketing

Receipts, access links, sign-in codes, renewal notices, and guidance that forms part of a purchased experience are product or transactional messages. They are necessary to provide what you requested. Promotional emails are optional. At checkout, promotional consent is presented separately and does not affect your purchase. You may unsubscribe from promotional email at any time without losing product access or required service messages.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate Words Grow Worlds, complete a transaction, follow your choices, protect rights and safety, or comply with law. Providers may include:

• Stripe for checkout, payments, subscriptions, and fraud prevention
• Kit and Resend for requested product delivery and email communication
• Hosting, database, security, and customer-support providers
• OpenAI for Moment Mirror guidance and other clearly identified AI-supported features
• Microsoft Clarity for consent-based analytics on public, adult-directed pages
• Advertising services, such as Meta, when those tools are enabled

When the Moment Mirror uses OpenAI, it sends the non-identifying prompt and limited family-language context needed to create a response. The child's name is not required. We request that the API response not be stored, subject to the provider's applicable service and safety terms.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising disclosures as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Where those definitions apply, you may opt out as described below.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Essential cookies and similar storage support checkout, account sign-in, security, and saved preferences. We use or may enable analytics and advertising technologies to understand visits, attribute purchases, measure campaigns, and show relevant ads. These technologies may receive technical and activity information, such as IP address, device data, page visits, and purchase events. We do not intentionally send children's profile content, private reflections, Moment Mirror prompts, or full payment-card information to advertising platforms.

Microsoft Clarity. If you accept analytics, we use Microsoft Clarity on public, parent-facing pages to understand clicks, scrolling, navigation, heatmaps, and reconstructed session activity so we can improve the website. Clarity may process technical and activity information and may use analytics cookies. Advertising storage remains disabled in our Clarity consent signal. Private family areas, child-related tools, and purchased product-use pages are excluded from Clarity initialization when visited directly and are marked for strict content masking if reached during an existing public-page session.

You can accept or decline analytics through the notice on our public pages and reopen “Privacy choices” at any time. If you withdraw after accepting, the page reloads to stop the analytics script and remove Clarity's first-party analytics cookies from this site. You can also use browser controls, platform ad settings, and an opt-out request to limit other nonessential processing.

6. Children's privacy

Words Grow Worlds is offered to adults and parents, not to children for independent use. Purchasers and account holders must be at least 18. Children do not create accounts, submit email addresses, or make purchases. An adult may enter a child's first name or nickname and guide a child through family activities.

Please use a nickname when practical and do not enter a child's full legal name, contact details, exact birth date, school, health records, or other sensitive identifying information. If you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate adult involvement, contact us so we can review and delete it.

7. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to deliver the product, maintain access, honor your choices, resolve disputes, protect the service, and meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Different records may have different retention periods. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transmission and access controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; receive a portable copy; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sales or sharing; and appeal a denied request. You may also withdraw promotional email consent through the unsubscribe link.

Send a request to hello@wordsgrowworlds.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may verify your identity before completing a request. You may also use an authorized agent where applicable law permits.

9. Changes and contact
